HELP!? IE7 in uncontrollable continous loop
I have XP sp 3, IE 7, Nortan AntiVirus 2006 v. 12.8.0.4 and use AOL 9.0 SE. When I am on AOL, IE7 will frequently open on its own and open new blank pages continuously, in rapid succession, display "ads.web.aol.com" and lock the keyboard. The only thing that works is: ctrl-alt-del, end the AOL and IE7 tasks, then reboot. However, it then routinely starts all over again. Any suggestions of what I can do to stop this ???

==============
1. Click Start, click Run, please type "inetcpl.cpl" (without quotation marks) in the Start Search bar and press Enter to open the Internet options window.
2. Switch to the Advanced tab.
3. Click the Reset Internet Explorer Settings button.
4. Click Reset to confirm the operation.
5. Click Close when the resetting process finished.
6. Uncheck Enable third-party browser extensions option in the Settings box.
7. Click Apply, click OK.
Suggestion 2 Update your anti-virus programs and scan for viruses.
I hope your issue can be resolved soon.
